CM Punk made his return to pro wrestling at AEW Rampage The First Dance. Ringside News exclusively reported that CM Punk had signed a contract with AEW. His debut had been teased for quite a long time but many fans still couldn’t believe it happened in front of their eyes.

CM Punk wasted no time in setting up his first match in AEW as he called out Darby Allin to face him at the AEW All Out pay-per-view next month. This certainly excited fans as Darby Allin is one of the top stars in AEW right now.

The show also closed with a huge brawl as Jon Moxley, Eddie Kingston, Darby Allin and Sting stood tall. After the conclusion of the show, Darby Allin decided to address CM Punk’s challenge.

Darby Allin decided to keep it short and concise as he made it clear that he accepted CM Punk’s challenge and that it will be an honor to face Punk inside the squared circle.

“I’m gonna keep this very brief. This f*cking company changed my life. And after All Out, everybody will know my name. CM Punk, it’ll be an honor.”

CM Punk hasn’t competed in the ring for over seven years so many fans wonder whether he will be able to perform at a top level in his debut match in AEW. We will have to wait and see how he will fare against Darby Allin at AEW All Out on September 5.
