AEW brought a historic show to Chicago this week for Rampage: The First Dance. CM Punk shocked the world when he made his AEW debut, but they didn’t keep it very good secret. That was all by design, but next week’s Rampage will be a normal show once again.

According to Cassidy Haynes on Bodyslam.net’s podcast, AEW is switching things up next week. Rampage will be taped in Milwaukee along with AEW Dynamite.

It was not noted whether AEW will tape Rampage before or after Dynamite, so fans in Milwaukee need to show up with plenty of time to spare and expect to stay late. Odds are AEW is going to do everything they can to repeat this week’s special atmosphere.

CM Punk will be in Milwaukee next week for Dynamite, so there is a very good chance that he will be around for Rampage since they are taping those shows together. Ringside News exclusively reported that CM Punk has agreed to wrestle 10 to 12 times per year for AEW under his new full-time contract.

This is an exciting time for AEW fans, and CM Punk’s arrival is just the first huge name of several that the company has coming.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
