WWE is making some big changes to the NXT brand, but pre-taping all of their episodes is not going to become commonplace. They will record three weeks’ worth of television on the week following Takeover: 36 and that reportedly caused some issues with the USA Network. After all, they aren’t paying for a taped show.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE might be pre-taping episodes of NXT right now, but that is not going to become the trend. They will “definitely” start live episodes once again on September 14th.

The 8/24 NXT show will be taped on 8/23. The 8/31 show will be taped on 8/24. We’ve heard conflicting reports on whether 9/7 goes live or not. It may be taped on 8/24, but 9/14 definitely starts live shows again

WWE is making some improvements to the Capitol Wrestling Center, because they are not going back to Full Sail University. The black and gold brand will remain at the WWE Performance Center’s custom arena. We’ll just have to see what the future holds for the company’s developmental brand as the months go by, because it is always evolving.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
