MJF is one of the best heels in the pro wrestling world right now and his character has only continued to develop during his time in AEW. He quickly cemented himself as top star and has been a mainstay of AEW television since the debut of AEW Dynamite back in 2019. The Salt of the Earth is dedicated to his character as he never breaks kayfabe, inside or outside the squared circle. He’s known to give children the middle finger.

Chris Jericho and MJF have been feuding for a long time, with the 5 labors of Jericho being a highlight of AEW television for the past month. In the main event of this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Jericho and MJF faced off in the final labor of Jericho.

It was an intense match from start to finish as both competitors were determined to pick up the win by any means necessary. In the end, MJF made Chris Jericho tap out and won the match.

After the conclusion of the match, MJF took to Twitter and declared that it’s his throne now, after his triumphant victory over Chris Jericho.

It’s my throne now.

He wasn’t finished there. The Salt of the Earth continued rubbing more salt in the wound. “My cup of your tears runneth over,” he tweeted out in glee later the next afternoon.

Ric Flair certainly loved the main event as well. MJF made good on his promise of winning the match and will happily drink the tears of Chris Jericho’s fans now. After his huge win over Chris Jericho, we will have to see what is next in store for MJF.
