Impact Wrestling held another round of television tapings tonight. They also filmed a couple big matches for their Emergence pay-per-view special. The company taped one match for Before The Impact tonight as Jake Something beat John Skyler. Then they got to the tapings for the television show.

We previously reported that Christian Cage retired the TNA Title in the opening segment of the show. This was a big moment as the company’s top champion will only carry one title belt now. You can check out the spoilers for the television taping below:

Christian Cage celebrated his big win over Kenny Omega, and then he retired the TNA Title before he handed it off to David Penzer. Then Brian Myers and Sam Beale interrupted him and they cut a promo to hype Emergence.

Chris Sabin beat Sami Callihan. Then Moose attacked both wrestlers after their match. Eddie Edwards ran down for the save.

Mickie James plugged NWA Empowerrr and then Deonna Purrazzo and Matt Rehwoldt attacked her. Trey Miguel & Melina ran down to make the save in that segment.

Rich Swann & Willie Mack beat the Good Brothers. Then The Good Brothers put Mack & Swann through a table after the match was over.

Rohit Raju & Mahabali Shera beat Matt Cardona & Chelsea Green in a tag team match.

Jordynne Grace, Rachael Ellering & Taylor Wilde beat Tenille Dashwood, Madison Rayne & Kaleb with a K in a six-person tag team match.

Moose beat Eddie Edwards and then a big brawl featuring Moose, Edwards, W. Morrissey, Ace Austin, Madman Fulton Christian Cage, Brian Myers, Sam Beale, Josh Alexander, and more broke out.

Taylor Wilde beat Tenille Dashwood

Decay beat Fallah Bahh & No Way

Moose cut a promo and then Eddie Edwards attacked him with a kendo stick. W. Morrissey attacked Edwards after that.

Josh Alexander beat Jake Crist and then Alexander accepted Chris Sabin’s challenge for Victory Road. So, that match is happening later.

John Skyler beat Laredo Kid

The Good Brothers cut a promo and then Rich Swann attacked them with a chair.

Trey Miguel beat Matt Rehwoldt. This was followed by Mickie James and Deonna Purrazzo brawling after the match.

Steve Maclin beat Petey Williams

The company also taped two matches for their Emergence pay-per-view, one of which saw newly crowned Impact World Champion Christian Cage successfully defend his title against Brian Myers.
