AEW’s roster is set to get a huge injection of star power very soon. Ringside News exclusively reported that CM Punk inked deal with the company. It was also confirmed that Daniel Bryan signed an AEW contract, and those two huge signings caused AEW to rework lot of plans. WWE also released Bray Wyatt in recent memory and that shocked lot of people. Obviously, AEW is ready to make some jokes about the situation.

The new episode of Being The Elite, Partying In Pittsburgh, features references to both Bray Wyatt’s Fiend and Bryan Danielson. That tease can be seen at around the 20-minute mark in the latest episode.

The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega are shown browsing through AEW action figures. After spotting their own action figures, they notice a Daniel Bryan and The Fiend WWE Mattel battlepack. Interestingly enough, someone stocked the display with those battlepacks next to AEW figures.

Kenny Omega recognizes “that one guy’s The Fiend,” but he didn’t mention Bryan Danielson. Instead, he hid their battlepack behind one of his own figures.

AEW obviously throws out winks and nods to popular pro wrestling discussions on a frequent basis. The fact that they inserted this joke into the latest episode is very interesting. Of course, CM Punk was not mentioned, but this Friday’s Rampage The First Dance in the United Center is likely to contain a very exciting moment for fans of the Second City Savior.

We have not heard about AEW signing Bray Wyatt. He is still under a 90-day non-compete clause at this point. You can check out the latest episode of Being The Elite below.
