CM Punk is slated to show up in AEW at their special Rampage “The First Dance” event on August 20th. Many fans will tune on on Friday hoping to see the Second City Savior, and the word is out.

Ringside News exclusively reported that CM Punk has inked a deal with AEW. It was also reported that Punk is 100% for an All Elite Wrestling show in Chicago show. All signs point toward August 20th as the first time CM Punk appears on AEW television.

During tonight’s NFL Network programming, Adam Rank mentioned CM Punk’s Chicago debut for AEW as “the most anticipated debut in Chicago.” This was in reference to quarterback Justin Fields’ debut in the Bears vs Dolphins game. It was said that Punk’s debut will mean more than Fields.

Ringside News also exclusively reported that CM Punk is contracted to wrestle 10 to 12 matches a year, but he will be on television on a frequent basis.
