John Cena and Roman Reigns opened up SmackDown this week. The two top Superstars tore each other apart with verbal barbs. Cena also brought up Dean Ambrose and claimed that Roman Reigns ran him out of WWE. This came after Nikki Bella was brought up by Reigns. Needless to say, it was quite a way to start the show.

According to a report from Fightful Select, Jamie Noble was noted as the producer for that segment on the run sheet. Noble might have had a hand in creating the segment, but Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns also have a tremendous amount of pull when it comes to creative freedom.

Roman Reigns and John Cena will throw down at SummerSlam, and the company wants to make that show a huge one. Allegiant Stadium will see those two collide in just over a week and we have to wonder what kind of insults they will fire off at each other in the meantime.
