WWE Adds United States Title Match To SummerSlam Card

WWE SummerSlam is set to go down in Las Vegas on August 21st. They only have a couple of weeks to go until the biggest party of the summer rolls around, and they added to the show during this week’s red brand.

Damian Priest blew the cover off of The Miz’s faked injury this week on Raw. It was a real injury, but The A-Lister was miraculously healed this week. After he ran The Miz off, Damien Priest laid down a SummerSlam challenge for Sheamus’ United States Title.

That totals seven matches for the biggest party of the summer so far. We will likely see more matches added to the card, but the event will also be a bit shorter this year, because they want to get fans out of Allegiant Stadium in time for the Manny Pacquiao fight taking place in Las Vegas on the same night.
