Chelsea Green was released from WWE, but the company was also in the process of locking down her name at the time. That process continued despite the fact that she was fired, and she spoke out about that. Now it appears everything is going to be okay in that situation.

Green called out WWE a little bit online was she posted to discuss her current name dilemma. She tweeted out to say, “I never thought I’d be in a legal battle for my BIRTH GIVEN name…  Going to discuss it on tomorrow’s episode of @GreenWEnvyPod.”

According toFightful, WWE made contract with Chelsea Green on Sunday to let her know that they are going to release the trademark filing on her name so she can use it.

This name situation for Chelsea Green wasn’t the first name situation she found herself in. The orginal name of her podcast was “50 Shades of Green,” but a cease and desist from that adult book franchise caused her to change that name.

Now Chelsea Green can be herself and keep her name without any worries about WWE coming at her.
