Goldberg Called Out For Being Unsafe In The Ring

Goldberg is back and on his way to the WWE Title match at SummerSlam. He will take on Bobby Lashley, but The All Mighty could be in for a dangerous experience if you ask Rene Dupree.

The former La Résistance member recently spoke to That 90’s Wrestling Podcast when Goldberg’s name came up. Dupree didn’t have the greatest things to say about the former Universal Champion. In fact, he called out Goldberg for being unsafe in the ring.

“Yeah he dislocated my collarbone. We (La Résistance  ) had a pre-tape in the back with Goldberg and he hit me with the French flag and we had to do 5 takes. To this day, if I try to flex it, it still hurts. Yeah he’s the sh*ts. He’s horrible, many wrestlers will tell you that.”

Goldberg has faced criticism in the past, so it’s nothing new to him. His adrenaline pumping entrance music still causes fans to chant “GOLDBERG” all over and that’s good enough to keep him around WWE for, at least, two matches per year. Vince McMahon also certainly sees it as worth his while to keep Goldberg on the payroll as well.
