Bert Prentice was a long-standing and important part of the pro-wrestling world. Being the owner of the famous wrestling promotion USA Championship Wrestling, Prentice was a crucial part of the world of pro-wrestling.

USA Championship Wrestling is based in Tennessee. The UCW team took to announcing the departure of Prentice on Facebook, expressing their sadness and reflecting on Bert’s legacy.

Bert Prentice used to be a manager, having managed legendary wrestlers in the likes of Tully Blanchard. The former wrestler, having fought a couple of matches with Jeff Jarrett & Jerry Lawler, was named Christopher Love.

Impact Wrestling sent out the following tribute after learning of his passing: “We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Bert Prentice – who was involved in the very early days of TNA and was the host of Xplosion alongside Jeremy Borash. We offer our sincere condolences to his friends and family.”

He has also worked with key figures from the world of wrestling. Having hosted TNA’s Xplosion alongside Jeremy Borash, he was involved with former WWE’s Jerry Lawler in his own promotion.
