AEW is bringing in CM Punk and fans know it at this point. The writing is on the way, and Ringside News also exclusively reported that he has signed with the company. That came with two blatant references to Punk this week on AEW Dynamite.

Virgil was watching AEW this week and he had an amazing reaction to MJF’s promo at the end of the night. MFJ referenced CM Punk’s “pipe bomb promo” by borrowing a few lines. This was very obvious for so many. Darby Allin also took a shot at CM Punk and Virgil made sure fans knew he saw it too.

We’ll have to see when CM Punk debuts for AEW. It was previously confirmed that CM Punk is 100% for Chicago, but it wasn’t made clear which Chicago show Punk will be at. Right now fans are really expecting to see him at the United Center on August 20th. We’ll have to see if they can figure out anything for him to do at All Out.
