AEW is all about honoring the past and Charlotte, North Carolina is full of pro wrestling history. The company rolled into Charlotte tonight for Fight For The Fallen, and they had a very special guest appear before the show who also sat in on commentary for AEW Dark.

Prior to AEW Dynamite, David Crockett, son of Jim Crockett and brother to Jim Crockett, Jr. was there. He received a great reaction from the crowd and then sat in on AEW Dark’s tapings.

This was a cool thing that AEW was able to do for Crockett. His family helped shape pro wrestling into what we know it as today. We’ll have to wait until AEW Dark airs on YouTube to see how he did on commentary.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
