Otis and Tucker were Heavy Machinery for a while, but then the WWE Draft split them up. They were able to tell some fun stories on the main roster, but their time as a team didn’t have a lot of time to it on the main roster.

WWE placed Otis with Chad Gable and now the Alpha Academy is a thing. Tucker was released from his contract and he gets to watch his old partner as a heel with Gable on television.

While speaking to The Angle Podcast, Tucker opened up about this situation. He doesn’t hold any ill will at all. In fact, he used to travel with Chad Gable and Otis together. He sees them as his brothers, but that doesn’t stop the disappointment that he can’t be there with them.

“I mean, like I said, I love Otis, he’s my brother,” Tucker said. “I love Chad Gable as well. The three of us, we would ride together quite often. [Gable is] another high-level amateur wrestler. We all have a brotherhood and a bond, so I don’t have any ill will towards those guys. Obviously I’m disappointed because of the way things have gone for myself personally but, by the same breath, for the last four months I’ve gotten to see my daughter more than I probably had for the two years before.”

Tucker is still waiting out his 90-day non-compete clause. We’ll have to see where he lands next, but he’ll likely keep an eye on what Otis and Chad Gable are doing in the meantime.

WWE turned Otis heel after shaving off his signature beard and cutting his hair. Now Otis is on a totally different path in WWE, but he’d not doing it alone. Tucker will also always be there to root him on when needed.
