Matt Cardona won the GCW World Title from Nick Gage last night and it was not happy moment for the company’s fans. Cardona was pelted with bottles and anything else the crowd could throw at him after he dethroned The King. Chelsea Green was watching, and she was obviously a bit concerned.
The former Zack Ryder won that match, but he also went through a ton of pain and punishment to get there. Gage cut Cardona open with a broke light tube and then the pizza cutter came into play. It was a moment of ultra violence, for sure.
Green tweeted out on the morning after watching Cardona’s big win. She made a joke about how that match worried her to the point of making her hair turn grey.
Well if I didn’t already have grey hair, I do after watching Matt & Nick last night.
Chelsea was still very proud of Matt Cardona’s accomplishment. She tweeted out: “That’s my man,” after he won the title from Nick Gage. Now she will have to wait until her man’s first GCW World Title defense, because that war could get worse for the Broski.
Cardona did not sleep last night, but he was on the jet this morning headed back to Orlando; his back was still bleeding. That big win will be followed by a trip to Disney World, and we can’t wait to see those photos from the happiest place on earth with Chelsea and a banged-up Matt.
