WWE released a lot of Superstars in the past few months. Some big cuts were made to make room on the company’s bottom line. Braun Strowman was axed, freeing up a $1.2 per year contract, but a lot has happened since then.

AEW has signed Andrade El Idolo and Malakai Black with big rumors of Daniel Bryan and CM Punk to follow. There is a lot going on in that situation and it has apparently caused WWE to rethink releasing Braun Strowman.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is now interest in bringing Braun Strowman back to the company after AEW started making big signing moves.

It’s unclear if WWE is actively pursuing Braun Strowman to make a return to the company. Odds are if they can get Strowman to sign a new deal, the former Universal Champion will demand a no-cut clause on his contract next time around.

Strowman’s name has already come up in conversations about AEW as well. Mark Henry said he will pull for the former strongman competitor, something that helped get Braun in WWE in the first place. We will have to see what happens here, but WWE might want him back so nobody else can have the Monster Among Men.
