WWE 2K22 Listed With September Release Date

WWE 2k20 did not meet fan expectations. In fact, it was a glitchy mess that caused 2k to go back to the drawing board. They tried with WWE 2K Battlegrounds, but fans still haven’t seen a traditional video game offering from WWE’s franchise since then. That is about to change.

2k is hard at work on WWE 2K22, but no official release date has been announced. We haven’t even seen footage from the game yet. That won’t stop a release date from getting posted online.

When fans Google search “WWE 2K22,” they find some very interesting information. The description for the game reads as follows, but that is only the tip of the iceberg.

WWE 2K22 is an upcoming professional wrestling video game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. It is the twenty-third game in the WWE game series and the ninth game under the WWE 2K banner.

The release date listed is currently shown as September 10, 2021. We have yet to hear about any official announcement yet, so it is unclear where that date came from.

A lot of fans are scoffing at this information, “I’ll believe it when I see it,” is a popular opinion. We’ll have to see if WWE has anything exciting to announce very soon when it comes to their new video game. A cover Superstar has not even been revealed as of this writing.
