NXT

This week’s NXT opens with a look back at Samoa Joe’s arrival in NXT and his tense run-ins with Karrion Kross, which culminated in an attack by the NXT Champion last week.

Samoa Joe comes to the ring and he does not look happy. Joe says “tick tock, tick tock. Guess who’s come to smash your clock?” William Regal comes out and he says this is not what he had in mind. He says Joe cannot be calling out Superstars. Joe shouts that he can because the agreement was that he could if provoked and you can consider him provoked. Regal agrees and says Kross puts his hands on Samoa Joe the referee, not the competitor.

Joe says it’s all semantics. Kross is out of control, just look at him running off to RAW without telling anyone. He needs put down and he’s the man to do it. Regal says Kross is on his way and Joe will sort things out peacefully. Joe says that, with his respect for Regal, he can promise tonight will be the end of it. However he cannot promise it will end peacefully. He guarantees that someone is going to sleep tonight.

Xia Li cuts a promo in Japanese about how she will do what the others couldn’t. She will become NXT’s first-ever Chinese Champion when she defeats Raquel Gonzalez.

The Diamond Mine make their way to the ring but Fish and Kushida attack them from behind. They beat Strong in the ring, knock Rust off the apron, then toss Strong over the ropes onto Rust.
