Mickie James was released from WWE, but it didn’t take her long to find herself with plenty of opportunities. Now James is back in Impact Wrestling and her old moniker is the same.

James returned to Impact Wrestling as Hardcore Country. She came out after Deonna Purrazzo successfully defended the Knockouts Title against her surprise opponent, Thunder Rose.

Mickie James was not there as a wrestler. She came out as a representative of NWA Empowerrr. Deonna received an offer to be a part of Empowerrr, but she told James to “grab your trash bag and get the hell out of here.” That resulted in a slap in the face by Mickie James.

Hardcore Country looked strong in her Impact Wrestling return, but Purrazzo wasn’t very receptive of the offer that James had for her.
