Bayley is out of action with an ACL tear and she just had surgery to correct the issue. Now she is on the mend and waiting for her return to the ring, but it won’t come for another 9 months. That will cause even more time out of the ring for her.

The former SmackDown Women’s Champion was not booked at WrestleMania for some reason. She appeared in front of fans, but she did not wrestle. A lot of fans were left wondering why she was snubbed.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted a very sad statistic about Bayley. By the time she makes a return to the ring, it will have been over two years since she wrestled in front of a live crowd.

Regarding her injury, because she didn’t wrestle on either night of WrestleMania, the last match she wrestled in front of actual fans (not including when the NXT wrestlers were the fans at the Performance Center tapings) was March 6, 2020. With her torn ACL, it will mean it will end up being more than two years before she does a match with fans

Hopefully, Bayley will be able to focus on her return to the ring and make that happen in speedy fashion. It will be a long break for the former Hugger as she watches her co-workers wrestle in front of live fans for the next nine months until she can finally make a return to the ring.
