WWE is going to have to move around NXT’s schedule due to the Olympic Games. NBCU will bring programming to the USA Network, and that will cause NXT to move things around.

According to a report from PW Insider, WWE will air their July 27th episode of NXT on Syfy. This will be a one-week issue as far as we know at this point. At this point we are still waiting to see if the schedules conflict.

The Tuesday 7/27 episode of WWE NXT will not air on the USA Network.  That week, the episode will broadcast at 8 PM EST on Syfy.

The Olympics bring a lot of advertising revenue to NBCU and they obviously made the call that NXT does not compare to that money. We’ll keep an eye on the Olympic schedule to see if any other conflicts arise.

NXT is also taping twice next week, but it is known if the two are connected. They will tape two episodes of the show next week, so the show on Syfy will not be live.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
