Sonya Deville has not wrestled since SummerSlam 2020 when she lost a loser leaves WWE match to Mandy Rose. This came during a time when she was dealing with a terrible stalker situation in her personal life. She returned to WWE, but as an authority figure. Now her in-ring return could be finally coming soon.

Ringside News exclusively reported that WWE wanted to bring Sonya Deville back to the ring around WrestleMania season, but those plans kept getting pushed back. Now it looks like the wait might be over.

According to a report fromFightful, Sonya Deville is expected back in the ring “imminently” as long as things stay with the current plan. There has also been a push to get her in the Money in the Bank match.

There has been a significant push to have Deville involved in the Women’s Money in the Bank match, and we’re told as of one point, she was penciled in for the match.

This is very interesting timing with the return of live fans. It was not exactly when Sonya Deville will get back to action, but Money in the Bank is an event where anything can happen.

Deville is very happy with her role as an on-screen WWE Official. She has also been training hard for a return to the ring and has always kept in shape. Perhaps with live fans returning that will cause Deville to put her hair up and square up once again.
