WWE is looking to call up some Superstars from NXT to the main roster. They might go ahead and call one person up tonight if the recent rumor is correct. Bayley’s injury changed a lot in WWE and that included future plans.

Bayley will be out of action for about nine months due to what is believed to be an ACL injury. Fightful Select reports that Bayley was training with someone at the WWE Performance Center and she heard it pop. That was the fist sign of trouble for the former SmackDown Women’s Champion.

It was further reported that some people are a bit concerned because this injury will mess with potential plans. Now some plans for incoming talent might have been switched around as a result of losing Bayley.

As of Friday afternoon, we heard that her injury may have actually caused plans to change for incoming talent.

There is also some frustration with the blue brand’s roster right now, because they have a severe lack of talent. “Two talents on the Smackdown roster were openly frustrated that the company’s lack of depth left them scrambling to find an appropriate replacement,” it was reported.

The idea that “they did it to themselves,” is present because the company just axed a number of talented Superstars. On the other hand, Bayley has also carried the SmackDown women’s division during the pandemic and always went above and beyond. Perhaps, this is just a result of losing someone so incredibly valuable to the division.

What’s your take on this situation?
