Chris Jericho is a true veteran in the pro wrestling world as he has competed all over the world in various promotions, including WWE. He has competed for over three decades and has worked with the best of the best in the pro wrestling world.

After working for several years in WWE, Chris Jericho would make his way to AEW in 2019, in a move that shocked the pro wrestling world and shook it to its core.

While speaking with Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Radio, Chris Jericho talked about how Vince McMahon and Triple H reacted to him possibly leaving WWE. Ultimately, both Vince McMahon and Triple H refused to talk to him.

“Suddenly, it becomes a reality when the show in Chicago happened and then suddenly it’s full bore and we began talking and I said, ‘well, I’ll go talk to Vince and see what he says’ and it was Triple H who was supposed to talk with me, which I’ve never talked to Triple H before, I talked to Vince and Vince only and then, Triple H kind of jobbed me out by not calling me back when he said he would, and I don’t play games like that, so I was like ‘forget it, I’ll just talk to Vince or no one else’ – and then, Vince never really called me either.”

Chris Jericho is certainly happy with his time working in AEW and it is unlikely he will ever go back to working for Vince McMahon again.
