According to PW Insider, WWE has nailed down a return to MSG. They will reportedly hold the September 10th episode of Friday Night SmackDown in Madison Square Garden, marking the end of a long streak without playing the famous venue.

World Wrestling Entertainment will finally return to NYC’S Madison Square Garden on Friday 9/10 for a Friday Night Smackdown taping.

The pandemic did a number to live touring and New York City was hit very hard by the COVID-19 situation. Things are returning to normal now and that will include a return to Madison Square Garden. The big question is what kind of show they will bring to the venue which is also incredibly costly to run.
