WWE and Bea Priestley were in talks for her to join the NXT brand. It seems that she signed on the dotted line, but she used a different name while doing it.
Ringside News previously reported that it appeared Blair Davenport will be Priestley’s new name on NXT UK. Those thoughts were proven correct when NXT UK aired a new video to hype her upcoming debut.
The caption for this video only said that someone signed a contract, but that it was apparent that new Superstar is Bea Priestley. The caption for the video sent out by NXT UK also referred to themselves as sports entertainment’s fastest-growing brand.

Bea Priestley was released from her AEW deal when she was unable to make it back for tapings due to the pandemic. Those same issues will not be a problem for her to make the NXT UK television tapings. We’ll have to see what’s next for Blair Davenport, but she is certainly gaining attention at this point.
