Kevin Owens’ WWE Hiatus Is Storyline Related

Kevin Owens is a true veteran in the pro wrestling world as he made a name for himself in the independent circuit, including ROH, before making his way to WWE in 2014. Owens has had a solid career in the company so far.

At the WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view, Kevin Owens squared off against his arch nemesis Sami Zayn. In a shocking conclusion, Owens would lose the match against Zayn.

After his loss, Kevin Owens took to Twitter and hinted at taking hiatus from WWE television. Now it seems there is more to this story than initially thought.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Owens taking time off is related to a storyline and nothing more than that.

“He’s taking time off, but I was told it’s storyline-related. So there you go.”

We will have to see when Kevin Owens will make his return to WWE television and what the company will have planned for him when he returns.
