Karrion Kross and Bronson Reed had a dark match for WWE officials before SmackDown this week. It seems that the main roster could be preparing for a much larger addition very soon.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed Karrion Kross’ recent tryout before SmackDown against Bronson Reed. Kross was already earmarked for the main roster and it appears that his time could be coming soon.

“I mean, Karrion Kross is getting fast tracked to the main roster. I don’t know when it is, but from the day he signed there was a question of how long until they bring him up. He’ll get his chance. They like his look, he talks well, he’s got good facial expressions. So, you know, we’ll see.”

NXT TakeOver: In Your House ended with Kross defeating everyone on the top of the black and gold brand. That is quite a way to go out if they call him up now. We’ll have to see what’s in store for the former Killer Kross, but WWE could have big plans for him soon enough.
