WWE needs to pull up viewership and holding special episodes is always going to help pop a rating. The company is making some big moves as live fans return to boost overall brand awareness.

It was previously reported that Fox and USA Network are pitching ideas. The concept of holding NFL and/or NASCAR Nights has been floated around. This could see NASCAR drivers and NFL players appear on WWE programming. Announcers could even be brought in for the show.

The idea of holding another King of the Ring tournament is also out there. Something much like Cyber Sunday as a “viewer’s choice” kind of situation has also been pitched.

According to Fightful Select, there is also an idea to hold a Wrestling World Cup tournament. The idea likely wouldn’t have anything to do with soccer, but it would borrow that famous tournament’s name. That could still be a very interesting idea with all brands involved.

There was also a Wrestling World Cup pitched, which is self explanatory, and would include all brands.

We’ll have to see what WWE plans to do with this situation. They have a lot of options and plenty of ideas floating around. The big question is which idea they will go with first.

What do you think about a Wrestling World Cup? Should they include everyone on the roster? Sound off in the comments!
