Ridge Holland suffered a freak accident in the ring during NXT. He was getting set up for a major push and then he went out of action with multiple injuries to his leg. He’s been working hard to get cleared for a return, but it will be quite a road for him.

According to PW Insider, Ridge Holland has been spotted at the WWE Performance Center on a daily basis as of late. He has been “grinding” away and recovering from injury. The rehab process is ongoing, but he has “thrown himself” into the process.

Multiple sources over the last several weeks said that Holland has thrown himself into rehab in a massive way and has been lauded for the great attitude he’s shown despite the injuries suffered last year.

Holland had surgery in October 2020 after suffering a left ankle dislocation and fracture, a right knee patellar dislocation and a patellar tendon rupture during the October 7th episode of WWE NXT. This injury was nobody’s fault and it just goes to show that you never know what can happen in the ring.

We’ll have to see how long it takes for Holland to make a return. He’s obviously throwing everything he has into his efforts to make it back to the ring.

What’s your take on Ridge Holland? Is he a former WWE NXT Champion?
