LA Knight Taking Applications For A ‘Virgil’ Character

LA Knight and Cameron Grimes were engaged in a feud for a while, which featured WWE Hall Of Famer Ted Dibiase returning to WWE television and bringing back his Million Dollar Championship.

At the NXT Takeover: In Your House event, LA Knight squared off against Cameron Grimes in a ladder match to determine the new Million Dollar Champion. In the end, LA Knight was victorious and joined a prestigious club of champions.

While speaking to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, LA Knight talked about the idea of having a character similar to what Virgil was for Ted Dibiase. LA Knight revealed that he is currently taking applications for such a character.

“Well, I’m actually taking applications as we speak. I’ve got a full line of recruits coming in who want to take over that. But if somebody meets the challenge, then perhaps that’ll happen. But if nobody meets the criteria, then I might just have to keep rolling solo.”

The coronation for LA Knight as the Million Dollar Champion took place on this week’s episode of NXT. However, LA Knight would turn on Ted Dibiase and attacked him in the ring. After what transpired, it is highly likely Knight will be getting his own Virgil type character.
