Pro wrestling can get in a bloodline and encourage everyone in the family to join the business. That is what happened with the Hebner family. Earl Hebner is a legendary pro wrestling referee and his son Brian Hebner followed in his footsteps. Earl’s daughter Katie Hebner is also getting into the family business, but she’s taking a different approach. Katie wants to wrestle.

Cody Rhodes has a hand in training Katie Hebner, and she’s getting back to it. After spending over a year outside of the ring due to COVID-19, Katie posted on Facebook to inform fans that she is now getting back to training, and if she plays her cards right she might even get her first match in.

Last night, I returned to the ring after about a year & a half (Thanks Covid 🙃) !! Not only that but I got an amazing opportunity to train under Cody Rhodes, who first and foremost is a wrestler but more importantly the VP of AEW, the company that I had my eyes set on 👀👀🤗 This is a new and refreshing experience. It cuts out all the other middle man stuff that other promotions have and allows me to be in front of the right people, if I play my cards right! So here’s to making something happen — LET’S GO.Last night, I returned to the ring after about a year & a half (Thanks Covid 🙃) !! We’ll have to see if AEW offers Katie Hebner a larger stage to apply her pro wrestling training. Earl Hebner hasn’t been seen in AEW for a long time, but he couldn’t make the traveling to Jacksonville during a pandemic. Hopefully, fans will see Earl Hebner again someday, and he might even officiate one of his daughter’s matches in the process.
