AEW will finally travel to New York on September 22nd for an episode of AEW Dynamite at the USTA Author Ashe Stadium in Queens for “Dynamite Grand Slam.” Tickets go on sale on July 16th and Eddie Kingston might buy out a bunch of those seats to give out so he can fill the building with his people. The New York native is incredibly pumped for AEW’s first show in his home state.

Kingston tweeted out a great reaction to AEW’s New York debut. He stressed how this is “big for real” and he’s not “f*cking around this is big.” AEW is going to bring a show to New York for the first time and you can bet that Kingston will be there.

Look this is big for real. I ain’t fucking around this is big. I AM COMING HOME FOR THE FIRST TIME wITH @AEW!!!! NY STAND UP!

AEW was supposed to go to New York state and many other locations already. The pandemic had other plans, but it also brought Eddie Kingston to AEW in a strange way. If it wasn’t for Kingston’s amazing promo about selling his pro wrestling gear to pay his mortgage then he might not have had an online promo go viral that landed him in AEW. That could have happened eventually, but things seemed to work out for Eddie Kingston. Now he’s ready to show AEW how to party in New York.

MJF, who also hails from that area of the country, doesn’t seem to be as thrilled. He replied to Kingston with a “rolling eyes” emoji.
