WWE is bringing SummerSlam to Las Vegas on August 21st and ticket to the event in Allegiant Stadium went on sale today. Fans are obviously going to flock to Las Vegas for the biggest party of the summer, or scalpers had an absolute field day.

The company isn’t selling every available seat in Allegiant Stadium. They did put 41,000 on sale. At the end of today, they will have far less seats open.

Tons of seats were bought in the early hours of the sale. Then the company put more seats up for availability. It appears that WWE could end up selling far more of the stadium than they originally planned. We’ll have to see if they can sell out every possible seat.

As of around 2:30 PM, they only had about 1,844 seats available. That is a very strong showing for first-day ticket sales. The extra hype for the event likely helped. It was reported that WWE wants to make SummerSlam this year’s WrestleMania.

WWE will have to block off certain areas for the staging and entrances, but they might not have a problem selling as many tickets as they can to SummerSlam. The reported big match of Roman Reigns vs John Cena is certainly a huge drawing point for a lot of people. Either way, Allegiant Stadium is set to be a packed house.
