WWE fans can be quite difficult to please sometimes. They can also take things the wrong way. Adam Pearce was just trying to send out some love for unsung heroes in WWE, but that did not go 100% as expected.

Pearce sent out a tweet to thank all of the WWE staff who go above and beyond to make sure that fans have entertainment. He said that they exhibit “total selflessness” in the process.

Then WWE’s Director of Live Events had to follow that first tweet up with a second to say that people needed to be blocked for their responses.

Just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the incredible crew behind the scenes at @WWE. Literally everything they do is geared toward presenting everyone in as positive a light as possible. Think about that for a second. Total selflessness.

Of course I’d end up wasting my time blocking some people for their replies to this. Shame on me for giving credit to those that never get it.

One fan replied saying: “No way. If that were true, talent like Aleister wouldn’t just fall through. So many NXT superstars hit Raw or Smackdown just to die. Called up just to be released.” Odds are this one received a block treatment.

Another fan replied to say, “Well, that would explain Hogan still hanging around.”

Adam Pearce didn’t mean to stir the pot with this tweet, but that is practically impossible on Wrestling Twitter. You can check out some of the responses that likely got blocked below.
