The perks of being a WWE Superstar come with a lot of benefits. Wrestlers get to travel the world and put smiles on people’s faces by doing what they love the most. They also get to watch the WWE Network for free on Peacock with a code that is provided to them by the company.

When talent are released or they depart from WWE, however, they no longer have that privilege. Speaking with Mark Sterling on MC! True Long Island Story, Matt Cardona revealed that WWE canceled his wife Chelsea Green’s Peacock subscription the same day she was released.

I mean, WWE did give out the WWE Network code, and for so long, even after I got fired, it still worked and then they cut me off finally. But like, ‘Oh, jokes on you. Chelsea’s still there’ and then they get rid of the Network, they do Peacock and the day she gets fired, Peacock’s gone.

Matt Cardona added that his father was not originally supposed to be involved in the finish of his Intercontinental Championship match with The Miz on the RAW after WrestleMania 32. WWE allegedly scripted his father into the angle and he had to cancel his flight to appear on the show.
