Renee Paquette worked with WWE for eight years until she parted ways with the company back in Summer of last year. She left the company after FOX’s WWE Backstage show was cancelled.
On the other hand, Paquette’s husband Jon Moxley worked in WWE from 2012 to 2019, before making his way to AEW. Since his departure, WWE has changed quite a bit and for the past year or so, a lot of talents have been released, which has upset many people.
While speaking on her Oral Sessions podcast, Renee Paquette talked about WWE’s latest slew of releases. Paquette stated that she and Jon Moxley left WWE at the perfect time.
“It’s scary. I mean, I keep saying… Jon and I were having a conversation the other day. I’m like, ‘Man, we got out at the perfect time.’ You know, Jon left a year, year and a half or so prior to me leaving. I left eight months ago, something like that, but to just like… I don’t know, we saw our own sort of future in the tea leaves about what we wanted to do just with our careers in general and were able to kind of pick and choose our own moments.”
Since her departure from WWE, Paquette has kept herself busy with numerous projects, both personal and professional and will also welcome her firstborn along with her husband Jon Moxley, later this year. Paquette is certainly happy now that she isn’t working in WWE anymore.
