WWE Is Ruining Shayna Baszler’s Booking Says Jimmy Korderas

WWE RAW ended with Shayna Baszler in a very interesting segment. After stomping Alexa Bliss’ dolly, Lilly, Baszler’s life became a living nightmare; the show went off the rails. Everyone in the backstage area vanished, leaving Baszler to be stalked by Bliss’ creepy doll. This was not a winning segment with a lot of fans.

During a recent Reffin Rant, Jimmy Korderas discussed how WWE is involving “a legit badass and ass kicker” like Shayna Baszler in such an outside the box storyline. One should have to suspend belief in an angle with the Queen of Spades.

In Korderas’ opinion, Baszler is not getting booked toward her strengths at all. She pulled off the acting in that angle, but it isn’t what she should really be doing.

“You have someone like Shayna Baszler who is a legit badass and ass kicker and you have her be afraid of a little doll. I don’t mind the hocus pocus and the [spooky noise] stuff going on, but she doesn’t fit into that category. You need to have her kicking ass. Maybe she faces someone at SummerSlam like a returning Becky Lynch, who is also a butt-kicker, now you’ve got me interested.”

It was also proposed that WWE could get Ronda Rousey involved with Shayna Baszler once she’s ready to make a return after having her child. There are many things that WWE could do with Shayna Baszler, but having her chased by a doll in some horror-inspired segment wasn’t it.
