Matt Cardona arrived in AEW after his WWE release, but he only had a six-match contract. That deal is now over and Cardona is with Impact Wrestling. It is not known how long his deal with Impact Wrestling is, but the company does have a partnership with AEW. That could provide him with an opportunity to jump back to All Elite Wrestling.
Cody Rhodes didn’t have the best night on Dynamite. The Factory beat him in a match and then the Nightmare Family had to fight them off. It appears that Cody could use a bit more help, and Matt Cardona was quick to offer his assistance.
Need some backup Code Man? I still got the jacket. #AlwayzReady
We’ll have to see if the former Broski ever makes his way back to AEW. It seems like the bridge wasn’t burned, but they couldn’t work out an agreement to keep him around for longer. Perhaps this new storyline with the Factory will give Cardona something else to do in All Elite Wrestling.
