AEW Double or Nothing featured a big moment for Jungle Boy as he won the Casino Battle Royale match. This was a stellar victory, and one he shared with the Jurassic Express afterward. His big win also cemented him for a future World Title match, but now that match has been moved.

During Busted Open Radio, Tony Khan revealed that the Kenny Omega vs Jungle boy match will not take place next week as previously advertised. They have pushed it back to June 26th.

It’s unclear why they moved that World Title match to a Saturday show, but odds are it is to help viewership. AEW Dynamite only drew just over 500k viewers with their Friday Night Dynamite prior to Double or Nothing, not what they wanted at all for their future Rampage time slot.

We’ll have to see if Jungle Boy can pull off his big win. Fans will have to wait a bit longer to see the match go down.

In case you’re keeping score at home, that match will be taped well in advance. The company is knocking out every episode for June this week prior to hitting the road for live touring again.
