Update: Jerry Lawler has since updated his previous statements. He clarified that WWE did not tell anyone to get vaccinated, but they do have a policy about wearing masks.

Original: WWE is hitting the road again in July, but they want to make sure anyone they bring with them is safe to travel. A vaccine is out now and the company is encouraging people to take it.

It was previously reported that WWE employees were informed that they will be back in the Stamford offices by July. Employees were encouraged to get vaccinated, but it is not required. Unvaccinated people need to wear a mask.

Jerry Lawler tweeted out to inform fans that he is getting vaccinated as well. He also threw out a very interesting note as ‘everyone’ was apparently told by WWE to get their shots in by the June pay-per-view.

WWE called and said everyone needs to be fully vaccinated before the next pay per view in June, so here I am! Didn’t hurt a bit!!!

Lawler said the shot didn’t hurt a bit. Now he is vaccinated and ready to hit the road with WWE if they need him. It’s been a while since WWE called Jerry Lawler, but he is obviously ready for any kind of call from Vince McMahon’s company.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
