EC3 signed with ROH and was determined to see if honor was real. Then he had a couple bad events for his health. EC3 caught COVID-19, but he recovered. Then EC3 was hospitalized.

ROH ran television tapings recently.Fightful reports that EC3 was not at those tapings. He was told by ROH management to take the time off.

On April 21st, EC3 posted a photo of himself in a hospital bed on Instagram. The caption included the description: “Short version; an infection I neglected proper care for, put others people’s needs before mind, went straight empath, caught up to me and broke me.⁣ Long version; it’s extensive, I’ve been hospitalized 5 days and we’ll need longer.’”

EC3 was “encouraged” by ROH management to stay at home and heal up and “not be in the bubble.” ROH runs a very strict bubble with it comes to their COVID-19 protocol. It was not noted when he will return to ROH, but fans shouldn’t expect to see him in the content they tape during this run of television.

The story is not over for EC3, because he will be back. He signed a deal with the company and is happy with his pro wrestling home. We’ll have to see what he is able to accomplish, but hopefully he’s finished suffering through bad health right now.

Is EC3 a future ROH World Champion? Sound off in the comments!
