More WWE NXT Releases Possibly On The Way

WWE released a handful of NXT Superstars and two referees last week. Even more cuts are possible from the black and gold brand soon enough.

The company released Drake Wuertz, Jake Clemons, Skyler Storie, Jessamyn Duke, Vanessa Borne, Ezra Judge, Kavita Devi, and Alexander Wolfe. More releases could be coming according to a recent report.

During the Mat Men Podcast, Andrew Zarian revealed that he heard more NXT talent could be on the chopping block. We will have to see what the company decides to do.

“I heard [there’s] maybe some more to come. Some NXT UK talent”.

We will have to see if WWE decides that they need to release more people due to “budget cuts.” That was the reason given to all fired talent, but nobody buys that logic. WWE is still making record profits and is planning to get back on the live touring circuit in July.
