Cesaro lost a brutal Universal Title match to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania Backlash. Following the match’s conclusion, Seth Rollins entered the situation and destroyed Cesaro’s arm with a steel chair. The King Of Drip had a reason for doing this.

Ringside News already exclusively updated fans on Cesaro’s current injury status. He is fine and all that arm selling was part of the match’s story.

During WWE The Bumps’ 100th episode, they invited Seth Rollins on the show. He was one their debut episode in October 2019, after all. Things changed for The Messiah since then and he revealed why Cesaro caught a beating at WrestleMania Backlash.

Rollins explained that Cesaro claims to be a “high and mighty” pro wrestler, but he keeps taking advantage of Rollins. The Messiah accused Cesaro of taking advantage of a rain delay to beat him at WrestleMania, and then a few weeks later he used Jimmy Uso’s help to beat him and secure that Universal Title match.

He continued to say that if Jimmy Uso didn’t superkick him on SmackDown then Cesaro would have never received that Universal Title shot in the first place. Rollins then laid claim to being the “hardest worker in the room,” and not Cesaro.

“So he goes out there and he has his ‘classic match’ against Roman Reigns, can’t get the job done and I made an example of him. I don’t like the guy. We go back a long way. He’s not the same person he used to be, he’s changed. That’s why I did what I did, because he’s changed. That’s why I hurt his arm. Hopefully, that’s the message he needs. Previously, he didn’t understand. He got away with some free ones. This one isn’t free. That wing is gonna be clipped for some time.”

We will wait to see what Cesaro’s next destination is as WWE prepares for Hell in a Cell on June 20th. The Swiss Superman could always end up battling The Messiah in the unforgiving cell structure. It is all up in the air at this point.
