Kenny Omega vs Andrade Is Officially Happening

Andrade has a lot of people in the pro wrestling world that he would like to face. He had a dream match list and Kenny Omega was on it. Things are even more interesting since the Belt Collector is also AAA Mega Champion.

El Idolo showed up during recent AAA pay-per-view and laid down a challenge for Omega. He wanted The Cleaner at TripleMania, AAA’s largest event of the year. That match between Andrade and Omega is now officially happening.

Despite Kenny Omega’s interesting response to Andrade’s challenge, the match is now set. Omega vs Andrade will headline TripleMania with the AAA Mega Championship on the line. That match will certainly put Omega to the test as Andrade has a lot to prove after his WWE departure.

TripleMania will take place on August 14th. The two have a couple of months to prepare for their big main event match.

WWE released Andrade without any non-compete attached. He obviously got right to work on arranging his future. Now Andrade is set for one of the biggest matches of his career at TripleMania.

It was also recently reported that AEW is talking to Andrade. It is unknown how far along those discussions are. The fact that Andrade is about to wrestle Kenny Omega makes his AEW arrival seem even more likely.
