Karrion Kross is currently the NXT Champion and has been on the receiving end of a great push after he came back from a shoulder injury. He is an imposing force in the company and Kross now has a solid fan following.

While he is certainly having a great run in NXT, it is inevitable that Kross will be called up to the main roster eventually. Now it seems a WWE Hall Of Famer sees big things in Kross.

While speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T talked about Superstars that could face Roman Reigns in the company. A fan mentioned Karrion Kross as a possible opponent for Reigns in the future. Booker T said that he thinks the NXT Champion could be the “next big thing” in WWE but will need to see more of his in-ring capabilities.

“I need to see a little bit more of what Karrion Kross can do from a match perspective, working with guys from a scientific perspective, psycology-wise. I haven’t delved deep enough inside as far as Karrion Kross can go out there and do. The thing I know about Karrion Kross is, when he walks out of the curtain, just his appearance says this guy here could be the ‘next big thing’. I know he’s coming off an injury and that kind of stuff right there, in WWE, could definitely hold you back. Guys that get an injury here and there, get put in a position running with a belt or something and boom, get injured.”

Karrion Kross currently has a huge target on his back as the NXT Champion as Finn Balor, Pete Dunne and Kyle O’Reilly are all vying to get a chance at facing him for the NXT Championship. We will have to see how the NXT Title picture will be booked and when Kross will be called up to the main roster.
