Bobby Lashley Takes The Day Off After WWE WrestleMania Backlash

Bobby Lashley walked out of WrestleMania Backlash as WWE Champion, but that doesn’t mean he’s taking a day off. MVP wanted The All Mighty to take a break and that is not an easy thing to do when you’re talking about the WWE Champion.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Bobby Lashley’s big title defense was actually supposed to be the WrestleMania Backlash main event, but then plans changed.

MVP met Lashley in the gym where he tried to talk some sense into him. “You crashed through an LED screen last night and you still maintained the WWE Championship,” he said, “I’m begging you to take a day off, it’s okay to enjoy the fruits of your labor!”

Bobby Lashley wanted to run on the treadmill a bit more, but MVP wouldn’t let him. “I promise you,” MVP said, “take the day off, man.” Then the two of them left as MVP assured Lashley that “it’s going to be a good night.”

We’ll have to see what is in store for Bobby Lashley on RAW tonight. They have Hell in Cell to build for June 20th, but he might just take it easy as well.
