RVD is in the WWE Hall of Fame now, an event that was captured by the new Icons special.. That special, now available on Peacock, also included a pretty great moment with RVD and Vince McMahon.

We previously covered how McMahon and Triple H both gave RVD credit for being a trailblazer. So many Superstars tried to emulate Mr. Monday Night for years to come. Then Rob Van Dam offered a gift to The Chairman: a book of rolling papers from his custom line of paraphernalia.

Vince McMahon has been known to roll up a doobie. Chris Jericho once told a great story about The Chairman smoking a joint during a concert while in the company of Donald Trump.

“I remember one time Vince told me that they were watching some concert or something at Trump New Jersey, whatever it was called. Whatever the arena was called, Trump Arena. And Vince was sitting there with Linda, Donald, and all the heads of state, and Vince lit up a joint and Trump was like, ‘you can’t smoke that joint in here!’ And Vince goes, ‘I just did!’”

Vince McMahon’s company also does not include marijuana in the banned substances list. There is a fine attached for popping dirty for THC during a random Wellness Policy test. Superstars must take four of those random tests a year. There are also other loopholes in the Wellness Policy.

You can check the clip below to hear Vince McMahon’s priceless reaction to getting a book of RVD branded rolling papers. Odds are he will put those RVD rolling papers to good use, and the Whole F’n Show knew it too.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
