WWE has a Wellness Policy and they test for performance enhancing drugs. They also check for illegal drugs and a few Superstars have been popped for failing in the past. The penalty is 30 days for a first offense and 60 days for their second. A third failure could result in termination. There are still loopholes.

Marijuana is allowed according to WWE’s rules. A shocking number of Superstars use marijuana in some way. There is a fine attached for testing positive for THC, but prescription medication is permitted.

Braun Strowman raised some eyebrows when revealing that he is training for bodybuilding competition. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that getting down to 330 will be tough for Strowman without steroids. It was then said that there are loopholes for acquiring HGH and testosterone.

There are loopholes with WWE since you can pretty much take GH with impunity and there are people who are given TUE’s for testosterone

This is an interesting note to keep in mind. Some doctors will prescribe those performance enhancing drugs to patients, especially once they get a bit older. Braun Strowman will likely start to sculpt himself into a bodybuilder in the weeks to come as he prepares for competition. It will be interesting to know what help he uses along the way.

It was not noted who is taking testosterone or any growth hormones, but you can feel free to discuss that in the comments below.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
